As a woman I have long been aware of others’ reactions to my body. Growing up, my mother scolded me and told me to cover up, while strangers on the street begged me to show more.

Spectrum explores how the human form is a vast landscape full of different sculptural structures. Every human body is composed of the same parts, but the shapes, textures, lines and contours of these elements are different in every one. My photographs offer an alternative intimate perspective of the nude human figure, seen not as as sexualized object, but as an abstract canvas.

My body, like yours, is not x-rated.
